Indications for use :
- Your highly active, faithful companion does not always know his limits and
can cause problems such as: digging up flower beds or the vegetable patch,
complaints from the neighbours for straying, etc.
- But more seriously, they may cause or be the victim of a road traffic
accident.
- Modular, aesthetic, and functional, CANIFUGE makes it possible to keep one
or several of your companions free range yet safely within a defined
perimeter.
- CANIFUGE adapts to all types of terrain:
- open fields, woods, valleys, with or without fencing.
- The required diameter of cable depends on the length of the perimeter:
-
- 0.75 mm2 up to 400 m of cable
- 1.5 mm2 between 400 m and 1,000 of cable
- 2.5 mm2 between 1,000 m and 2,000 of cable.
How does the containment system work ?
- You set your dog’s authorised boundaries by installing a cable, known as a
coaxial cable, around the authorised perimeter.
- This cable carries a radio signal that is emitted by a transmitter.
- When your dog is wearing the receiver collar and approaches the coaxial
cable, he is warned with a series of audible beeps that he is too close to the
prohibited zone.
- Then, if he continues to approach the cable, the collar emits
electrostatic corrections at the same time as the warning tone. Your dog must
move away from the cable back into the authorised zone to make the corrections
and warning tone stop.
Easy to control, for one or several dogs :
- For each collar, there are 8 possible level of correction.
- These levels enable you to adapt the intensity of the correction to your
dog (size, sensitivity, character, etc.).
